Using PayPal in Mauritius

With PayPal you can buy and sell online. It's simple. You must have the following:

  • A bank account
  • A credit card 
To enable your credit card for online transaction, you must tell your bank that you're gonna use it for online transactions and they will make the necessary things.

Next, you go to PayPal's website. You complete the formalities such as name, address, country and so on. You are going to be asked to put the last 4 digits of your credit card. After you have successfully completed the formalities, you will receive a number (after some days) in a bank statement that you must take at the bank or they will send you it by post. It's preferable that you take it.

After receiving this number, you need to enter it in your PayPal account to successfully set up the account. Then you're ready to fly online! Remember: Your online buying limit will be the limit on the credit card.
